Man raped by 3 women !!

Well, you read it right and its not a typo , A Man brutally raped By 3 women in Karachi, Pakistan. Apparently the guy was a delivery boy and the women had brought him over to their apartment to show where he had to deliver food everyday. Then they drugged him and tied him up. After that the women repeatedly forced themselves on him for 4 days in a row. Many may look at it as a wild foursome but i don't think that guy thought so. He was reportedly left by a river after 4 days with his genitals bleeding. The women were all very attractive and were from well to do families. The victim has lodged a complaint and investigation is under way.

This raises a similar question in all our minds. Why rape the poor fellow? There must be thousands in Karachi willing to volunteer for a four-way sex with 3 hot women. If not in Karachi, there will be millions in Pakistan ready to get in bed with them. If not them, we sex starved Indians could lend these Pakistani girls a helping hand. I cant think of a better place to bond with the Pakistanis than 'the bed'. Every other way has already been tried out.

So was this an act of aggression ? Sexual frustration ? Sexual experimentation ? Desperate feminist call for equality ? Whatever it was , it has shaken up Pakistani men. So guys, do not stay out too late, do not loiter alone late at nights and keep 100 as a speed dial, cause there might be a group of HOT women lurking around waiting to pounce on you. LOL

Cheers !!

Cannabis

For those of you who don't know what Cannabis is, I bet Marijuana, Weed, Dope or Gaanja would sound familiar. Cannabis is a naturally occurring, mild hallucinogenic Class B drug. It is not as potent as Crystal Meth or heroine but possibly , i repeat , POSSIBLY more potent than alcohol or tobacco. It is the most widely used drug in the world. The effect of cannabis differs from person to person. 95% of people tend to loose inhibitions, indulge in pointless giggling and develop an appreciation for color and music whereas the other 5% experience paranoia, excessive sweating, vomiting sensations and panic attacks.

For many smoking cannabis is a daily affair even though possession and use of marijuana is illegal in most countries. I personally feel that weed is a much safer drug than alcohol or tobacco. Research has proved that chances of developing bronchitis and lung cancer is lesser in smoking pure cannabis than smoking tobacco. Tobacco induces physical dependency unlike cannabis. Tobacco smokers need a cigarette as soon as the nicotine level in the blood drops but in case of cannabis nothing of the sort happens. The dependency that develops amongst Cannabis users is psychological and comparatively easier to get rid off. Cigarette smoking accounts for over 10 million deaths around the world every year whereas till date no clinical deaths have been reported as a result of direct use of cannabis. All the reported deaths were a result of loosing inhibitions under the influence of cannabis. Heavy usage of alcohol causes liver damage, stomach cancer and heart diseases whereas heavy usage of cannabis causes dependency and memory impairment. People all over the world are fighting for the legalization of weed. Since 1969 every year, cannabis smokers from around the globe meet up at a common place and protest for its legalization. The world wide marijuana march is organized every year on first week of may.

These were all facts and statistics from research on the net. On a personal note i believe smoking up once in a while is way more safer health wise than being a regular smoker or a heavy drinker. Practically getting stoned is way cheaper than getting drunk and it does not leave you with a bad hangover the next morning. Alcohol being a depressant often leaves you in a foul mood whereas smoking up sessions are really fun with all the giggling and the music.

The way things are going its only a matter of few years before marijuana gets legalized worldwide. That would certainly increase the number of hippies walking around but still it will help reduce the combined death toll of alcohol and tobacco. So if you think cannabis should be legalized, log on to worldwidemarijuanamarch.org or globalmarijuanamarch.org and lend your support.
Happy stoning..
Cheers

Slumdog Millionaire Vs The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button

Hello All,

Before I start scrutinising both the movies, I’d want to say that both are extremely good movies with a brilliant plot. Being an Indian I hope SDM sweeps all the major awards at the Oscars later this month. More than Danny Boyle, I hope A R Rehman wins the three awards he has been nominated for. He’d only be the 2nd Indian ever to win an oscar, the first being the Late Satyajit Ray. He had won the Life Time Achievement Award for his bengali film Ponther Panchali. It’d have been even more heartening for me personally and the millions of other Indians if AR Rehman would win it for an Indian movie. Never the less, an oscar is an oscar. So best wishes to ARR.

Coming to the two movies now. SDM has been nominated for 10 oscars whereas TCCOBB has been nominated for 13. I have watched both the movies a couple of times. TCCOBB took me three attempts to complete as the movie is mind numbingly slow. For a hollywood movie 2 hours and 43 minutes is a huge drag. Though the concept of the movie is new it is highly impractical. Still the portrayal of the character Benjamin Button was brilliant. By portrayal I mean the physical portrayal. If anybody from the TCCOBB team deserves an oscar it should be Brad Pitt’s make-up artiste. His acting I personally thought was highly ordinary and Pitt boasts of much better performances in the past. Still due to lack of decent competition in the best actor category there is every possibility of him walking away with the highest honours.

The main place where I think TCCOBB lost out to SDM is in publicity. SDM after losing Warner bro.s contract was on its way to directly being released as a DVD. It wouldn’t even have hit the theaters if Fox pictures hadn’t stepped in at the right time. The kind of publicity they provided is the prime factor behind SDM being where it is today. Another major factor what I believe is the fact that the movie revolves around the slums of Mumbai. Frankly speaking even till date there are millions around the world who carry that image of India. It still is believed to be a poverty stricken place. Not everyone around the globe know that India is way more than just slums and dirty roads. Anyway, the point here is the reason I believe this movie has been so well accepted ,is because of the central plot. It deals with the life of a slum kid which invariably strikes an emotional chord with the most. Danny Boyle has managed to maintain the authenticity of the Mumbai slums without sugar coating anything. He has shown the life of a slum dweller exactly like how it is.

Still I believe certain things could have been different in the movie. The TV show host has been shown in a bad light which could have been different as the real host of that particular TV show was a very warm hearted person and respected everyone on the show at least on the screen unlike whats shown in SDM. I didn’t see the point in killing Saleem off even though he was a negative character.

Anyway whatever said and done SDM is the front runner at this year’s academy awards. I am pretty sure the whole of India will be glued to their television sets on 22nd of February hoping Slumdog Millionaire bags as many as possible. Best of luck to the whole crew and cast of SDM. And all the best to the TCCOBB team as well. May the best movie win.

Cheers !
